OUR
Story

Thirteen years ago, fate plopped Jenni and Zoey into neighboring dorm rooms at the University of Illinois. At the time, they never suspected that Garner Hall would become the platform for a lifelong, and transformative friendship. It wasn't long before they became attached at the hip and began filling their days with ridiculous antics such as making music videos, having Airsoft gun battles, dressing up as rappers and staging photoshoots, building elaborate forts out of Busch Light boxes, eluding the infamous campus policeman, Officer Thomas ...and going to class in their spare time.
Sadly, Jenni's college glory days came to an end a full year before Zoey's, when Jenni graduated in 2006 and proceeded on to grad school at Wash U in St Louis. Prior to leaving the utopia of Champaign-Urbana, however, Jenni gave Zoey a stern talking-to on their last night out at the lovely Cowboy Monkey. Jenni made Zoey promise that this would NOT be the end of their friendship as they knew it, and that they would move back in together ASAP once that pesky Masters Degree was out of the way.
That following year when Zoey and Jenni were apart, it became clear that life just wasn't as much fun. There were countless impulse drives to Champaign and Megabus trips to St. Louis in attempts to bridge the gap, but being apart made it abundantly clear that they were both happiest when they were together.
After Jenni graduated, she and Zoey moved in together in Chicago to fulfill the terms of the "Cowboy Monkey Agreement". Through their journey, Jenni and Zoey have learned that following your heart isn't always the easiest path, but it certainly is the most rewarding. Thanks to the unconditional love and support of their family and friends, and their long-standing commitment to one another, their love grows stronger each and every day.
